Ready for an extraordinary escape? Set sail from Milazzo on a full-day adventure to uncover the most captivating corners of the Aeolian Islands: the glamorous island of Panarea and the dramatic volcanic wonder of Stromboli.
Your journey unfolds aboard a comfortable boat, gliding across the shimmering Mediterranean waters. Explore the charming alleys and exclusive spots of Panarea, soaking in its unique atmosphere. But the true highlight awaits as evening approaches. Prepare to be mesmerized as you witness the awe-inspiring, fiery spectacle of Stromboli's active volcano, its powerful eruptions lighting up the night sky – a truly unforgettable sight!
Get ready for an unforgettable island-hopping adventure! We'll set off from Milazzo at 12:30 PM, making a quick stop in Lipari before cruising towards the glamorous island of Panarea.
After about two hours on the shimmering sea, we'll arrive in Panarea. We'll admire the stunning "Baia di Calajunco" from the boat – a truly breathtaking sight! Then, you'll have around 90 minutes to explore this chic island.
Panarea, the smallest and most ancient of the Aeolian Islands, is a haven for VIPs who adore its beautiful beaches, vibrant nightlife, and crystal-clear waters. Wander through the narrow, blue-and-white streets of the historic center, eventually leading you to the charming Saint Peter's Church. Consider a visit (either on foot or by the island's unique taxi service) to the prehistoric village of Capo Milazzese, an important archaeological site that proves Panarea's ancient roots stretching back to 1400 BC! Don't miss Cala Junco Bay, a natural amphitheater with unique rock formations creating a spectacular natural swimming pool – perfect for snorkeling! And if you're feeling indulgent, relax on the sandy shores of Cala degli Zimmari.
Leaving Panarea behind, we'll sail past the tiny islets of Basiluzzo, Spinazzola, Lisca Bianca, Dattilo, Bottaro, Lisca Nera, and the dramatic rocks of Panarelli and Formiche. This forms a captivating mini-archipelago between Lipari and Stromboli.
Next stop: Stromboli! We'll dock at Stromboli Scari Porto for approximately two hours.
Stromboli is truly one-of-a-kind, home to one of the world's most active volcanoes. Witness the mesmerizing, rhythmic explosions of ash and lapilli that give the island its wild and fascinating character. During your time here, explore Saint Vincent's Square, named after the church dedicated to the saint. You can also see the house where Rossellini and Ingrid Bergman stayed during the filming of "Stromboli terra di Dio" (Stromboli, Land of God). From the square, enjoy panoramic views of the port and the Strombolicchio, the oldest volcano in the Aeolian Islands.
As night falls, prepare to be amazed by the incredible spectacle of the Sciara del Fuoco – fiery eruptions against the dark sky, creating an ever-changing display of color. We'll witness this from the sea on our return journey. We expect to arrive back in Milazzo between 10:00 PM and 11:00 PM, depending on the sunset.
