Messina Family Winery Tasting and Cathedral Bell Tower

This Messina family winery tasting is part of a five-hour day trip that starts at the port, with transport there and back. It combines the old centre with a local lunch and a wine tasting.

The first part is the historic centre and the cathedral. There the bell tower puts on its show, with moving statues that stand for important moments of history and popular religious belief. The tour includes some walking, so comfortable shoes are a good idea.

Then you go to a family-run winery just outside the centre, in the southern part of the city. You have lunch of local products and taste wines made from grapes grown in the Messina area, and you can learn how the wine is made.
