Godfather Film Locations Tour: Forza d'Agrò and Savoca

This Godfather film locations tour takes you from Taormina or the Messina harbour to two hill towns used for the movie, with a local guide and hotel pick-up and drop-off. The first stop is Forza d'Agrò, an old village on a hill with a wide view of the Ionian coast. A walk through its historic centre passes palaces, monuments and spots used for several scenes.

Next comes Savoca, where the tour includes:

• the Church of San Nicolò, where Michael Corleone marries Apollonia Vitelli, with time for photos
• Bar Vitelli, where Michael first meets Apollonia's father
• the square outside, where the wedding celebration takes place

At the bar you can sit under the pergola with a granita or a glass of local wine, included in the tour. Entrance tickets to the churches and highlights, plus water bottles, are included too.

The visits are on foot through the centres of both villages. The tour is not suitable for children under 7.
