Get ready for an unforgettable Sicilian adventure! Our journey begins in the charming town of Santa Venerina, ascending from Giarre. We'll pause to appreciate the town's magnificent cathedral – a perfect photo op! Next, prepare your taste buds! We'll visit a local farm for a delicious tasting experience. Sample the authentic flavors of Sicily with local honey, cheeses, pistachios, olive oil, olives and almonds. It's a true taste of the land! Fueled up and ready, we'll ascend majestic Mount Etna, Europe's largest active volcano! We'll reach an altitude of 2,000 meters at Piana Provenzana, where the impressive Silvestri craters immediately captivate. We'll spend 1-2 hours exploring these inactive craters, strolling around and perhaps picking up a souvenir. For the adventurous, there's an option to ascend even higher, to 2,500 or even 3,000 meters, using the local cable car with a guide. (Please note: cable car tickets are not included in the tour price). Our adventure continues to the picturesque town of Taormina, a true Sicilian gem. Stroll along the Corso Umberto, an ancient Roman road, leading you to the heart of Taormina and a stunning square overlooking the sea. Wander through the charming streets, discover hidden gems, and marvel at the world-renowned Greek Theatre of Taormina. Before leaving Taormina, we'll visit a breathtaking viewpoint known as "The Balcony," offering unparalleled views of the beautiful Isola Bella beach. It's the perfect spot for a memorable photo! As we journey back towards Messina, we'll make a special stop at the Sanctuary of Christ the King, a truly unique location in Messina. From here, you'll be treated to a spectacular panoramic view of the Strait of Messina. Finally, we'll conclude our tour at Messina's cathedral, home to the world's largest astronomical and astrological clock – a sight to behold!
