Description

Set sail from Milazzo for an incredible full-day voyage that unveils the dramatic beauty of the Aeolian Islands. Spend your day discovering secret sea caves, tranquil inlets, and towering coastal cliffs. As evening approaches, prepare for a magical grand finale: witnessing the sun descend majestically over an active volcano.

Ahoy there, adventurers! Our incredible island-hopping journey kicks off from Milazzo bright and early at 9:30 AM. First stop: Lipari! Prepare to be wowed by the stunning contrast of the azure sea against the dazzling white pumice mountains. Keep your eyes peeled for the iconic "Petra Lunga" and "Petra Menalda" rock formations as we approach. Lipari, the Aeolian archipelago's largest and liveliest island, is brimming with things to discover. I highly recommend exploring Lipari's Castle, home to the Church of Saint Bartholomew, the island's beloved patron saint. History buffs will be in paradise at the "Contrada Diana" archaeological site and the "Luigi Bernabo Brea" Archaeological Museum. And of course, no visit is complete without a leisurely stroll through the charming, narrow streets of the historic town center. It's the perfect place to shop for souvenirs and soak up the authentic Aeolian lifestyle. To truly capture Lipari's breathtaking panoramic views, consider hopping on a local bus tour. Next up: Panarea! A short sail will whisk us away to Panarea, the smallest, most ancient, and lowest-lying island in the Aeolian chain. But don't let its size fool you – this is the archipelago's most glamorous spot, a favorite haunt of celebrities drawn to its sparkling sea, beautiful beaches, and vibrant nightlife. The historic center is a picture-perfect scene of deep blue and brilliant white, with narrow streets leading to the picturesque Saint Peter's Church. After visiting the stunning Cala Junco Bay – a natural amphitheater shaped by unique rock formations, creating an idyllic swimming pool – treat yourself to some relaxation on the sandy shores of Cala degli Zimmari beach. As we leave Panarea behind, we'll cruise past the captivating inlets of Basiluzzo, Spinazzola, Lisca Bianca, Dattilo, Bottaro, Lisca Nera, and the dramatic rocks of Panarelli and Formiche. This collection of tiny islands forms a micro-archipelago nestled between Lipari and Stromboli. Finally, we arrive at Stromboli, a truly unique island dominated by one of the world's most active volcanoes! The rhythmic eruptions of ash and lapilli give Stromboli a wild and fascinating character. During our stop, explore Saint Vincent's Square, named for the church dedicated to the same saint, and see the house where Ingrid Bergman and Roberto Rossellini lived during the filming of "Stromboli terra di Dio" (Stromboli Land of God). From the square, you'll have a breathtaking panoramic view of the port and the Strombolicchio, the oldest volcano in the Aeolian Islands. But the real magic happens after dark. As we sail back, prepare to witness the awe-inspiring Sciara del Fuoco – a fiery spectacle of eruptions illuminating the night sky with ever-changing, colorful displays. We'll arrive back in Milazzo between 10:00 PM and 11:00 PM, depending on the sunset, with memories that will last a lifetime.
