The Tour will take you to the center of Castelmola passing first by the small Belvedere square to admire the beautiful Isola Bella, and then on to Taormina.


First Stage: The Tour will take you to discover Castelmola, passing first by the Piazzetta Belvedere to admire the splendid Isola Bella. You will walk along the streets of this characteristic medieval village included in the circuit of the Most Beautiful Villages of Italy suspended between the sky and the sea. From here there is a fantastic view with Mount Etna on one side and the Ionian coast on the other. You will have the opportunity to visit the ruins of the Castle the magnificent Piazza Sant'Antonio with its mosaic floor made of lava stone the Piazza del Duomo with the ancient Mother Church, the small Church of San Giorgio Padrono di Castelmola, walking through the narrow streets of the center you will glimpse the little stores where they sell lace and embroidery made by local women. It will also be possible to make a stop at the "Bar Turrisi," a particular local bar with a phallic theme where you can drink a good coffee and have a tasting of almond wine, a typical dessert wine of Castelmola. Second stop After visiting the small village of Castelmola, the Tour will take you to the historic center of Taormina. Starting from Porta Catania, walking down Corso Umberto you can visit the Cathedral with a splendid view of a baroque style fountain called 4 fountains, the Clock Tower or middle door. From Piazza IX Aprile you will have an enchanting panorama with a view of the Ionian Sea and Mount Etna, with a splendid view of the Cape of Taormina and the bay of Giardini Naxos.Continuing along Corso Umberto in the direction of Porta Messina you will reach Palazzo Corvaja and the church of Santa Caterina, which stands over the ruins of the Odeon and a Greek temple. It will then be possible to visit the Greek Theater (the ticket is not included in the price), one of the most important ancient sites in Sicily. If you prefer, you will have free time to enjoy lunch at one of the many typical restaurants.
