Popis

Small-group boat trip in the Strait of Messina, ideal for those on a cruise or already in the city. Includes transfer from the harbor, stops at the Costa Viola and Scilla, and a swim in the Pool of Aphrodite.

The experience begins at the Port of Messina, berth 5, where our reserved transfer will be waiting for you to reach the embarkation point in Ganzirri. The transport takes about 35-45 minutes. Once we set off, we'll pass by the mouth of the canal that connects the sea to Lake Ganzirri, a symbol of the bond between village life and the open sea. Continuing towards the extreme tip of Sicily, we will come across the Capo Peloro Lighthouse, a historic beacon that marks the entry to the Strait of Messina, and the Pilone, an imposing 225-meter-high structure that was once part of the power line between Sicily and Calabria. This is where the Ionian Sea and the Tyrrhenian Sea meet. We will cross the Straits of Messina to reach the Calabrian coast and the beautiful Costa Viola. The first stop will be the Pool of Aphrodite, a small natural pool nestled among the rocks, where the sea offers incredible colors. There will be a swimming stop here of approximately 30 minutes. We will then continue along the coast of Scilla, one of the most fascinating villages in the Mediterranean, linked to the myths of Scylla and Charybdis. We will sail along Capo Pacì, the Costone Tre Croci, Marina Grande (Scilla's main beach), Castello Ruffo, the Rock of Ulysses, the Porticciolo di Scilla, and Chianalea, the ancient fishing village overlooking the sea. At the end of the excursion, we will return to Ganzirri, where you will take the transfer back to the Harbor of Messina. Total duration: approximately 4 hours An authentic experience for a small group, ideal for discovering the charm of the Strait of Messina, Sicily, and Calabria in a single tour.
