Going along Via Consolato del Mare, next to Palazzo Zanca (the Municipal building), the INPS building is located, constructed at the end of the 1920s by the architect Peressutti from Padua.
The building has a particular architectonical value, and it is inspired by the art-nouveau style as can be seen by the floral polychrome drawings. At the corners of the building there are four fountains in eclectic style.
The name "I.N.P.S." is an Italian acronym for National Institute of Social Insurance.
